the M16 has a better amount of range and accuracy verses the smaller M4 carbine. The A3 however, sports the removable carry handle, making it easier to put in scope mounts or other optical options, such as a more compact rear sight. Due to the lengthy barrel (compared to the M4 carbine) it is somewhat front heavy.
Once upgraded this rifle makes a nice sniper rifle if one so desires. If not, there is the option of attaching an M203 grenade launcher, or even conversion to an M4.

Exterior: This gun has dark gray receiver and carry handle with black colored stock, handguard and outer barrel. Mostly, it was cast with a good detail especially the metal parts, except the plastic stock. It came with a black metal flash hider replacement. The downside would be its not-a-metal receiver and Colt's trade mark was erased. The 68 rd metal magazine has a very nice dark gray finish and the seams were neatly done. This magazine fits securely into the magazine well without any wobble. Function : The fire selector switch works precisely. During the test fire in fully-automatic mode. BB's hit the target at 33 feets as a group, measured less than 1 inch in diameter. It's made in Japan ! Overall I'm not only satisfied with this gun but also impressed with an excellent, no-hassle service I have received from Precisionairsoft.net. I do value this because you can get the same gun from any online store but a good service makes you enjoy it more...
